Irish Hills Area
The Irish Hills in south central Michigan was formed by ice glaciers many years ago. When these glaciers melted many lakes were formed amongst the hills and valleys created by the movement of the glaciers resulting in a beautiful vacation oasis in an area of the state known mostly for flat farm lands. So - come, stay close to home, spend less money and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Irish hills.
Naturally a great tourist/vacation area like the Irish Hills has many attractions and restaurants. Do you like to golf or play putt-putt? How about go-cart racing, video arcades, hiking the state park, water slides, and basket ball? Maybe you would like to unlock the mysteries of Mystery Hill or visit Prehistoric Forest. You could spend a whole day in an authentic western town, watch cowboys, ride horses or just tour this very interesting town.
Are you hungry? Some of the finest restaurants in southern Michigan are just minutes from the cabins. Steak and crab legs to hot dogs & hamburgers and ice cream stands will fulfill all your appetites.
If shopping is on your agenda you will find antique shops, crafts, specialty shops and sporting goods and so much more. Make sure you consider Cabelas, the largest and most fantastic sporting goods stores anywhere within hundreds of miles. You will never run out of things to do, unless of course that is what you choose to do.
Then just sit back, relax and enjoy your stay at Hideaway Cove on Evans Lake !
